Inspirational Mondays // Happiness Challenge

Happiness is something that everybody wants... and something that everyone can achieve if they put their mind to it. I challenge you to take this 30 day happiness challenge. Dare to be HAPPY! You are in charge of your life, don't make excuses, you create your own happiness! 


Day One

Wake up with a smile! Be grateful! Start your day by writing down three things that you are grateful for in life. Try finding a special journal specifically to write the things that make you happy in, but no worries if you don't have one! Sticky notes and scrap paper makes a great alternative to a notebook (just don't forget where you put them!) Continue this for at least 29 days to create a healthy habit.


Day Two

At the end of the day, write down something that was meaningful to you in the last 24 hours. This can be something monumental or it can be something very small, just as long as it was meaningful to you! Anything is fair game, since you are the judge! Continue this for 28 days!


Day Three

Reach out to your family, friends or even a random stranger and praise them. Self happiness also can come from other peoples happiness. Making some who is close to you feel good can be a positive thing for both parties! Try doing this for 27 days to create happiness all around. This can lead to a positive cycle in the community!


Day Four

CARDIO! Exercising really does create endorphins and is proven to relieve stress and create happiness. Try exercising for at least 15 minutes a day for the next 26 days and watch as your daily moods change! 


Day Five

Meditation is a great break from a hectic day. Take yourself to a quiet spot that you feel comfortable and just take a couple minutes to yourself. Try inhaling for five seconds and exhaling for three seconds, then again inhale for eight seconds this time and exhale for one. Continue this breathing cycle for at least 5 minutes and clear your mind. This can be done with candles, and or soft music as well! Mediate for the next 25 days to create this wonderful habit!
