Take a Hike

Literally, go on a hike! Hiking is a great way to get to exercise without spending hundreds of dollars. Grab your friends, family or even a pet and set out on an adventure! Who could say no to a beautiful view like this? The best thing about hikes is you can make it as long or as short as you want it to be! To up the ante, throw some lunch into your backpack and enjoy a meal with a spectacular view! Click here for a gorgeous Washington hiking trail.

Coffee Fanatics

For all you coffee fanatics out there, (you know who you are) instead of driving to meet your friend for a quick cup of coffee try walking to a local coffee shop in between your homes. You will burn calories while knowing there is a sweet treat waiting for you at the end of your walk! Are there no coffee shops around you? No excuses! Try taking your coffee to go and walking around a park or a cute neighborhood instead of sitting inside the coffee shop! Click here for a great local coffee shop. Not into coffee? No worries, try a local juice or smoothie bar!

YouTube Fabulous

Don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a fitness class? Don't have time for a fitness class? Well, try YouTube workouts for FREE! YouTube is a great resource for fun and free workouts that will sure to have you sweating! It's also a great website to test out different kinds of workouts to see which one works best for you! Need a new workout? Try Blogilates, it's super fun but also gives quick results!

Simply Stairs

Take the stairs! This one might be a little obvious but it is a greatly overlooked daily. Yes, sure the elevator looks so much more tempting but try taking the stairs anytime you can. Most the time the stairs can be a faster option, especially in a time crunch! Taking the stairs seems like such a little thing, but hey, the little things do add up! This can be a great way to add a little cardio to your everyday routine.

Take to the Water

Whether it be a solo trip or a big group, canoeing is a great option for a fun and inexpensive way to get some exercise. Bring some drinks and snacks to enjoy out on the water! Don't have canoe? No worries there are plenty of cheap rental areas in Seattle. If you go with a group of people try bringing some rope to tie the boats together out on the water to create a platform of boats!
