9 Things To Do in the Morning to Make It

4:17 PMAnonymous

Morning is always a struggle -- even if your a morning person. Opening your eyes, and getting out of bed is probably the 10th hardest thing to do ever. After some research , I came up with 15 things to do in the morning that will be the first steps in helping you be successful.

1. Wake Up Early

I know what you're thinking, I just asked you to do the one thing you didn't WANT to do in the first place, but I tell you -- you will be SO glad you did. You've done it before, you have a little extra time to feel a little extra pretty, or make a nice cup of tea. It gives you time to wake up more, and be sure you're ready to start your day.

2. Work it Out

Time to crack out that yoga mat! Working out not only helps your physical state, but it also helps build your mental focus as well. I promise, after working out you'll feel more awake anyways (plus you'll feel better about exercising today). Joining in at your local gym for Yoga or Zumba will also help you keep accountable for working out early in the morning.

3. Make yourself some Breakfast

We live in a society where a cup of coffee is all we have in the morning. Not good. ESPECIALLY if you just worked out! I am thinking more along the lines of eggs, toast, fruit, oatmeal, grits, SOMETHING that will give you the energy to survive that day! It will also help you not eat so much at lunch. So yes, we are pretty much telling you that breakfast is STILL the most important meal of the day.

4. Give Yourself Some You Time

You are working 24/7 to make it, so make sure you take some time to yourself to relax and work on you. Maybe you read for a little bit, or take a little extra time to be dolled up, just DO YOU. Think, ponder, write, draw, paint, knit, whatever makes you relaxed and mentally prepared for the day -- as our Nike friends would say, "Just Do It"

5. Get. It. Together.

Waking up early is already quite difficult, and I know you don't want to spend that extra time you just sacrficied on getting your stuff together. Fix it by being organized and gather your gear up the NIGHT before hand! It also helps save you from the whole "shoot I forgot something" events we always seem to have just before running out the door.

6. Get Confident, and we mean it.

Easier said then done right? Confidence isn't always easy to come by, though it does come naturally to other people. I have found the best way to feel confident is looking your best. Seriously, take that little extra time to put on that fun pink shade you love because it makes your lips look like Beyonce's! Do something that you know you love, it'll really effect your day.

7. Plan Ahead

Nothing is WORSE then not being prepared! It's like being caught in a blizzard in your shorts and a tank. Plan your day, what are you doing, whats the weather like, what's due, who do I need to talk to, what am I gonna eat -- and Write it down! or Text it to yourself, that always helps as well.

8. Never Skip the Pampering

This ties back in with taking the taking the time to look nice and feeling confident. Take the time to pamper yourself, I personally have a neck massage machine at home (I know, fancy eh?) and I use it constantly. OR spoil yourself, one day go get your hair and makeup done before doing your day, seriously, you feel like a celebrity!

9. Procrastination can end a Nation

I know it's a little dramatic, but it's a true story. Procrastination is almost like a quick fix, it feels amazing then and a great choice...but it just causes problems later. So, like your parents say, "Don't Procrastinate"

Hopefully this tips will help you survive the week!
