For all you coffee fanatics out there, (you know who you are) instead of driving to meet your friend for a quick cup of coffee try walking to a local coffee shop in between your homes. Most the time the stairs can be a faster option, especially in a time crunch! Taking the stairs seems like such a little thing, but hey, the little things do add up! This can be a great way to add a little cardio to your everyday routine.
Take to the Water
Whether it be a solo trip or a big group, canoeing is a great option for a fun and inexpensive way to get some exercise. Bring some drinks and snacks to enjoy out on the water! Don't have canoe? No worries there are plenty of cheap rental areas in Seattle. If you go with a group of people try bringing some rope to tie the boats together out on the water to create a platform of boats!
