What better way to celebrate summer nights than with a bonfire? Just imagine cuddling around the pit with a blanket, your best friends, and great music. What could be better?
We've got some recipes that will take your bonfire experience from 0 to 100 in around 5-10 minutes ;) Easy to make and with ingredients you'd typically bring to a campfire, you'll be eating in campfire luxury in no time!
1. Banana Boat

These by far are my favorite campfire treat. Once you taste these, you'll never go back to ordinary s'mores. All you need to do cut a banana in half and top it with whatever you want. A favorite combination has been with chocolate chips, marshmallows, peanut butter, and coconut flakes. Wrap it in foil, place it in the fire, wait 5 minutes, and eat with graham crackers!
2. Strawberry Lemonade
2. Strawberry Lemonade

Who doesn't love a refreshing lemonade on a hot day? Now obviously, this recipe will work better done at home, but it's not impossible to accomplish at the campfire! Mash 1.5 cups of strawberries, then take a pot or nonflammable bowl to boil around a cup of water. After it's boiled, remove and add a 1/2 cup of sugar to it. Let it cool (or add ice cubes from the cooler), and add to 4 cups of cold water. Add the pureed/mashed strawberries and add some fresh lemon juice if you want. Serve with ice and enjoy!
